Residents had a go at crafting their own fireworks after enjoying our small home display outside recently 🎇🎆

A different activity this week for the home as Kerry from Reborn events came to Romney with reborn dolls.

Research has shown the act of 'caring' for the doll can help give a renewed sense of purpose. The feeling can help the person connect to the outside and have a knock-on, positive effect on their energy, activity levels, engagement with those around them and mood.

Residents really engaged and enjoyed this visit and we look forward to welcoming Kerry back soon.

We've had a lovely Halloween week full of crafts, biscuit decorating and a pumpkin carving masterclass , big thanks to Kirsty who gave up her time to demonstrate how to create a pumpkin masterpiece 👻🍁

We were treated to the company of lots of lovely babies and their mummy's at Lucys Music and Movement session this month with a pre school helper who did a fab job of dishing out all the shakers and pom poms for residents to shake about to Halloween themed sing a long songs. Biscuits and squash were enjoyed together after when our residents get to chat to our visitors and even have a little cuddle.
