Carewatch Trowbridge provides home care services to the communities in Trowbridge, Bradford-on-Avon, Melksham, Chippenham, Devizes, Corsham and surrounding villages.
Our Trowbridge home care workers support adults and the elderly with a wide range of conditions to remain within the comfort of their own home. Our staff are highly trained, compassionate people who like to make a real difference in the lives of those we support.
Our care workers
Our Wiltshire carers make a real difference in the lives of our customers, they have the same care workers visit them at the same time each visit; continuity of care is very important in the service we provide. Our care worker team is made up of people of all ages, although our care team is predominately women, we do have a small team of male carers.
We have a mix of experienced Wiltshire carers, the average length of service with Carewatch being 6 years and we have 16 members of staff with over 10 years service.
Our staff come from different backgrounds and their previous jobs are just as varied. We have people that used to work in supermarkets, or factories, and we have one that was previously a conveyancing solicitor.
Many of our care workers and support staff , have or are currently caring for relatives, this experience helps them hold a better understanding of what the customer, and their relatives are going through.
When we ask our staff why they decided to come into care, the majority said that they wanted to do a job that was both rewarding and enjoyable.
