CALLING ALL CLINICIANS …

We are thrilled to be hosting, for the second year in a row, a one day training session, run by our friends at Stealth Products, UK - a practical Seating & Positioning Training course with live product setups and hands-on access.

Covering key seating principles, theories, and practical application, the course explores the foundations of effective clinical seating and positioning. It looks at the principles that support posture and assessment, alongside the theoretical understanding that guides clinical decision-making.

Content includes physical evaluation, the use of fixed and flexible support, and the appropriate application of belts, trunk supports, and head positioning, helping build confidence in seating setup to support comfort, stability, and everyday function.

We were delighted to welcome Paul from Pride Mobility to our Truro Centre today.

Paul visited us to demonstrate the fantastic Pride Compact scooter, giving our team a hands-on look at its features, performance, and clever design. It’s always great to see products up close and learn more about how they can support our customers’ independence and confidence.

Paul also gave us a sneak peek at some brand-new products coming soon from Pride. We can’t share all the details just yet — but trust us, they’re worth the wait!

Fantastic day at the Truro Centre today as we welcomed our Invacare UK Rep, Dave, who kindly delivered an in-depth training session, focusing on the Invacare Rea Azalea – a highly adaptable tilt-in-space wheelchair designed for comfort, support, and clinical flexibility.

The Azalea offers smooth, easy-to-adjust tilt and recline functions to help with pressure management and positioning, along with a fully adjustable seating system to meet individual postural needs. Its modular design makes it ideal for long-term users who require both comfort and clinical support, while still being easy for carers to manoeuvre. A brilliant piece of kit to explore in more detail with the team!

This is Luke. Luke visited our Truro Office back in November for a Driving Assessment with OT, Hayley and ADI, Chris.

On Monday he visited our Exeter Office to have an adaptations review with OT, Lynette and ADI, Emma after having one lesson at our Driving School.

He’s doing really well and we look forward to following his journey.
