This one is close to my heart. Every year I make a ‘more of this’ list instead of new years’ resolutions, and for 2025 I wanted more live music in my life. I’ve spent years prioritising work, so this year something had to change. I booked the tickets, and I set about ‘making it work.’ Nearly a year on, having burned a lot of rubber, eaten a lot of questionable food, taken a million photos and stayed in some interesting cheap hotels (including an airstream on a roof) this is my quiet offering to the London music scene. It’s a memory of cherry blossom in the spring meeting with friends at the o2, cheesecake at Wembley Arena, and the hot stickiness of the Black Heart in Camden. The scent lingers in the air for hours; it’s luscious, deep and sweet with sour cherry, rose and vetiver. I hope you love this scent as much as I loved creating it. LDN forever 💕

ABEL X ANCHORAGE WOODWORKS - a VERY limited collab 🪵 Andy is a long standing mate of ours, a woodworker and a resin artist. He’s got awful taste in biscuits, but luckily he makes beautiful resin artworks using reclaimed wood from a local sawmill, along with resin made with bio-content from renewable sources- so we can forgive the plain digestives 😅 We asked him to create a bespoke limited run of bases for Abel, using his unique skill and style. No two are the same, and Andy’s woven his deep love of the ocean into every single one. We launched these to the Abel Family this week, and there are a few left. Get ‘em while you can 🩶

It’s spooky season. So I want to share with you the gorgeous room spray we created with - Island Moon 🌒 A rich, luxurious scent blend that brings warmth and depth to any space. Myrrh contributes a resinous, slightly smoky aroma with hints of spice and earthiness, evoking a sense of ancient ritual and grounding calm. Tonka bean softens the blend with creamy sweetness, adding notes of vanilla, almond, and a subtle warmth that lingers beautifully in the air.

Together, they create an opulent, comforting scent—perfect for cozy evenings, meditation spaces, or adding a sophisticated touch to any room. It’s a fragrance that feels both mystical and indulgent, ideal for those who appreciate deep, enveloping aromas.

This scent is our second collaboration between Nat, John, Tilde and ourselves. Everything from the name, to the balance of the scent in the bottle, was decided together over coffee, at Strong Adolfos. We highly recommend a visit. ☕️ You can buy Island Moon at the cafe, or on our website 🩷

Probably about time we reintroduced ourselves 😬😬 I’m Kat and Ash is the normal one. We’re married and we have 3 kids and we make Abel in our home village in rural Cornwall, surrounded by fields and not a lot else 🚜 Abel was our Covid pivot; we’re both professional photographers and when our industry collapsed, we started making more of this weird fragrance burner that we’d made for ourselves. Our mates had said ‘you should sell those!!’ about 4 million times. So we gave it a go! And….erm….over 5 years later, here we are 🩶🩶 It definitely feels like a story of gently and diligently keeping the wheels on as we’ve navigated a post-Covid economy and then popped out into whatever the heck we’re all going through now 🫣😅 but we’re still here, making all your stuff by hand in the village where it all began 🙌

Our products are inspired by our own travels and experiences, and the original burner in our own home was created to help us switch between family life and work mode when working from home. We hope your Burner is a great reset button for you, too- it was never about being a home fragrance brand, it was about creating moments of mindfulness and a new way of moving through life 🩷🩷

Another great scent for Autumn is our Fistral scent. It’s the first one we made, it’s super woody with a touch of muted orange. Everyone loves it, and for some reason although everyone thinks of sunny beaches when they think of Fistral, this one has always been rooted in the wild Autumn swells for me 🩶

Also, first time with an ai edit on the grid. My photo, leaves by a robot 🤖 - I dunno. Last time I tried using ai for Abel it changed the name of the company to something rude and unprintable so jury’s out 😂
