👀 Could you spot the symptoms of diabetes in your child?

🔹 If type 1 diabetes is left undiagnosed, it can get really serious, really quickly. But knowing the signs can avoid a medical emergency and save lives.

🔹 Knowing the 4Ts can help you spot the four most common signs of type 1 diabetes in both adults and children, and they’re really easy to remember:

Toilet – Going for a wee more often.

Thirsty – Non-stop thirst and drinking more than usual.

Tired – Feeling more tired and having less energy than usual.

Thinner – Unexplained weight loss.

🔹 If you are concerned about your child please take them to see a GP as soon as possible.

🔹 For more information visit diabetes.org.uk

🔹 SAVE this post so you can refer to it later.

💔 Around 3 babies a week still tragically die from SIDS — but many of these deaths could be prevented if all parents knew safer sleep guidelines.

✅ Yes, co-sleeping absolutely is safe and can make those sleepless nights a little easier - but only when done the right way.

👍 The key is to plan ahead, not drift off accidentally without a safe sleep setup.

Safe co-sleeping tips:
• Keep pillows & bedding away from baby’s head 👶
• Always place baby on their back
• No pets or other children in the bed
• Make sure baby can’t fall, get wedged, or trapped
• Never leave baby alone in an adult bed

Do NOT co-sleep if:
• You’ve had alcohol, drugs, or medication that makes you drowsy
• You or anyone in the bed smokes
• Baby was premature or under 2.5kg

‼️ Never fall asleep with your baby on a sofa or armchair — this increases the risk of SIDS by 50 times.

Remembrance Sunday 🌺

🙏 We honour the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice so that we, and our children, could grow up in peace.

💙 History reminds us that we must learn, remember, and teach our little ones the values of empathy, understanding, and acceptance.

🙏 Peace isn’t promised; it’s protected every day by how we choose to live and love.
Remembrance is how we honour those who made it possible and learning from the past is how we ensure history never repeats itself.

😩 Just when your baby was starting to sleep for longer periods… BAM! Night wakings, nap refusal and daytime fussiness takes over!

🧠 At around 4 months, your little one’s brain is growing fast! They’re learning new skills: hand-eye coordination, tracking objects, recognizing faces, reaching for toys, and even starting to babble. They may dribble more too (which doesn’t necessarily mean they are teething!).

🙃 Try to remember: This isn’t a setback - it’s a progression. Your baby needs comfort, reassurance, and lots of love right now. Take care of yourself too and rest when you can.

💕 Hang in there. This challenging phase will pass, and your baby is learning so much every day!

🫩 Parenting is beautiful… and exhausting.

💗 You can love your children more than anything in the world and still feel tired, touched out or overwhelmed.

Both can be true.

💕 It’s okay to admit you’re exhausted. It doesn’t make you ungrateful, it makes you human.

💕 Let’s remind each other that feeling things doesn’t mean we’re failing; it means we’re doing it all.

💕 Sending love to every tired parent out there tonight - you’re doing an amazing job.
