I am a fully qualified Chartered Physiotherapist with a special interest in Women's Health & Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. I am also a certified Mummy MOT Practitioner, Sports Massage Therapist, APPI trained Pilates Instructor and Pre & Post Natal Yoga Instructor. Physiotherapy appointments and Mummy MOTs are available on Mondays and Thursdays at the Blue Lotus Therapy Centre, Scorrier, Redruth. Physio-led Pilates, Pregnancy and Mum and Baby Yoga classes are available at Devoran Village Hall.

✨The Mummy MOT is the post natal assessment that you deserve! ✨
We check your pelvic floor, tummy gap, abdominal strength, functional strength, breathing and posture.
It is a chance for you to talk about your pregnancy and childbirth, you can ask ALL of your burning pelvic health questions in a safe, professional and welcoming space. You will be provided with exercises and strategies to address any areas of concern to help you feel back in control of your body.

I am a Pelvic Health Physiotherapist, certified Mummy MOT Practitioner and Pre/Post Natal Yoga Instructor located at Threemilestone near Truro, Cornwall and would love to help support you through your post-natal journey. 💛

A time of transition.
Changes in hormones can influence so many parts of us - mind, body and soul.

Many women experience fatigue, anxiety, overwhelm, brain fog and if that wasn’t enough can experience so many physical symptoms as well.

Looking after our brain, heart, bone, muscle and pelvic health before, during and after menopause helps us to build resilience to be able to cope with the hormonal changes.

Pelvic health symptoms such as incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and v@ginal dryness can often rear their ugly heads around this time but there is so much you can do to prevent and resolve these symptoms with Pelvic Health Physiotherapy! 🙌

Getting on top of nutrition, sleep, stress management and exercise/movement can really help.

Let’s embrace this transition and get the support that we deserve. 💛

It means so much when I hear how much you’ve benefitted from our pelvic health physiotherapy sessions. I often feel like I want to give out certificates when we have our last appointment together because it can feel like such an achievement! 🙌

It is truly a privilege to work with women to improve their pelvic health. I often see women arriving at their first appointment feeling helpless, confused, tired and fed up with their symptoms and it’s soooo wonderful when they leave feeling reassured, empowered and quite often symptom free 💕

🌞 MAMA MOMENTS ~ MOTHERS CIRCLE 🌞

September is here and with that brings back routine, that Autumnal feeling, nights drawing in, crisp mornings, hot drinks, and a time to start slowing down.

It feels really right to start this group now - a monthly meet-up for mums and their little ones. This is about coming together and just sharing the load of motherhood and connecting with others who are going through the exact same thing.

Imagine sitting round with other amazing women (partners welcome of course) chatting about your journey so far, with no pressure or judgment, listening to others and learning some top-tips on all things postpartum and motherhood. There may be times we do something a little creative too whether that’s a bit of journaling or creating something arty to take away! You don’t have to be an artist it’s more about coming together and just having some fun!

There will be a theme each month with a guest expert coming along to share their experiences and how they can help and support you during postpartum.

It will be held at .yurt, a beautiful, peaceful space in St Erth once a month on a Sunday afternoon!

A hot drink and homemade snack will be included and I will be on hand to have lots of baby snuggles so you can relax and enjoy your drink whilst it’s hot 🤪

This isnt going to be a cheesy group and I understand it can feel a little daunting going to a new group but trust me, it really won’t be as scary as you might imagine. I have met some of the most amazing friends through going to things like this that felt aligned with me and what I needed at the time, usually a bit of connection! Motherhood can be wonderful but also a little lonely.

I can’t wait to meet you ☺️

My Story

I am a fully qualified Chartered Physiotherapist with a special interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. I am also a Massage Therapist and Pilates Instructor (APPI method) . Physiotherapy/Massage I am currently based at the Blue Lotus Therapy Centre in Scorrier and Averil Bainbridge Physiotherapy at Tregony. I am also available for home appointments in Truro/Falmouth areas - please call to discuss.

Physio-led Pilates

I offer small classes and one-to-one Pilates sessions to help people recover from injury or illness. I teach using the Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute method which combines Physiotherapy knowledge with Pilates exercises to create sate and effective adaptations of the traditional Pilates exercises at various levels so that each exercise can be taught in a way that is suitable for everyone.
