How lucky were we again. A stunning morning at Porthtowan with clear views from the cliffs. The ups and downs along the coastline gave us a good workout before we dropped into Chapel Porth to follow the valley. We carried on through the route to Park Shady and finished back at Porthtowan for a well-earned cuppa and lunch The Unicorn Porthtowan

Jenna joined us for her first walk and did brilliantly, as long as I didn’t look at her 😂. A fantastic morning all round. Thanks for coming and see you again soon.

How lucky were we today. We woke up expecting hail or even snow, but instead we had clear sunshine for our Level 2 walk this morning and our Level 1 walk this afternoon. After our final walk, which was Level 1, we stepped out of the coffee shop and the rain arrived. Perfect timing.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. It was great to welcome new faces on both walks and I hope you all enjoyed it.

Yesterday’s Nordic walk at Trelissick was bright and calm in the sunshine. A beautiful route and a great start to the week. Well done to Katy for joining her first level 3 walk.

Today looks a little different for our level 2 and level 1 walks, but we will still enjoy getting out together in the fresh air.

What a great morning at Walk Kernow. A huge welcome to the ladies who joined me today for their Nordic Walking Beginners Workshop. You picked things up quickly and brought plenty of energy. I hope you enjoyed the session and I look forward to seeing you again very soon. We also managed to miss the rain which was a bonus.

What a beautiful morning for a Walk Kernow start to the week at Penrose in Helston. It was a bit chilly when we set off, although the winter sunshine lifted everything. The cool, fresh air and soft light through the trees made the whole walk feel calm and energising. We finished with a warm cuppa at The Stables National Trust which was the perfect end to the morning.

If you joined us, I hope you are feeling refreshed. If you were not walking with us today, I hope you still managed to get outside and enjoy this clear winter weather.

Today was all about making the most of the calm before the storm. Beautiful autumn colours surrounded both our Level 2 and Level 1 groups, with plenty of laughter and great company along the way. We finished off with a well-earned visit to the café for both groups. What a wonderful Wednesday walk!

What a cracking morning at Trelissick! A beautiful Nordic walk through the woodland trail, surrounded by the most incredible fungi…they’ve grown to an unbelievable size this year and were absolutely spectacular to see.

A massive well done to Debs, who completed her very first Level 3 walk today! She told me she was going to prove she couldn’t do it… and instead, she absolutely smashed it. Fantastic effort, Debs!

What a Monday morning! We thought we were in for a soaking, but instead we were treated to bursts of autumn sunshine between a couple of light showers. The trees at Cober Valley in Helston gave us the perfect shelter, and the colours were stunning. A beautiful walk followed by a lovely cuppa with an even lovelier group of Nordic walkers.
