I’m immensely grateful to this client for so kindly and generously offering this review of our time together.

She showed up week by week with courage, grace, and commitment. We dived deeply, explored thoroughly and slowly allowed the truth of her experience to unfold with compassion and care.

It’s only through vulnerability and the strength of surrender that we can honestly meet ourselves and start on a new path of healing and integration.

Thank you to all of my clients for their trust in the process, belief in themselves, acceptance of their many parts, and for permitting me to walk by their side as they re-find their feet.

New research has shown, in stark black and white statistics, how very hard it can be to navigate your rite of passage as a Mother without the love, support and nurture your own Mother may have offered. Statistically 81% of these Motherless Mothers are suffering from poor mental health including the effects of anxiety & depression.

If you’re struggling with the loss of a parent, the loss of a loved one and the grief and loneliness that can bring do get in touch. We can offer Counselling through Lucy and also community through Flow’s many tailored and bespoke yoga classes for pregnant Mums, Mums with their babies and open group classes for that all important ‘me’ time in between.

It always brings me so much joy and appreciation when I receive a wonderful review from a counselling client.

I ask for feedback at the very end of our exploration together, perhaps after a few months or longer. This offers my clients the opportunity to reflect on their growth & experience. It also gives insight to prospective new clients who may be nervous about getting in touch and embarking on a course of counselling.

If you’re considering starting counselling this new year do take your time to find someone you’ll feel safe & confident in. Someone qualified & experienced to help guide you into the dark & hidden aspects of yourself to help shine some light of understanding & acceptance.

I’m overjoyed to announce that I’ve completed my Level 1 Training in IFS Therapy and am now listed in the IFS UK Directory of Therapists.  It’s thrilling to be awarded my Certificate of Completion signed by Richard Schwartz!
 
This work aligns with my Integrative Counselling & Coaching degree (2023) and my original Yoga Teaching qualification (2011).  Together, these trainings afford me a wonderfully rounded, robust and attuned approach to client work with integrity and respect for body, mind and spirit.
 
It’s a rare thing to find training that touches you both personally and professionally.  One that offers deep insight and connection as well as opening a vast field of compassion, integrity and respect. My Level 1 Training in IFS has done all of this and so much more.  It offered a brave space to explore, .share and grow within safe edges, held ever so tenderly with wisdom and grace.
 
The experience has been both unique and awe-inspiring and I’m filled to the brim with gratitude and humility for the training, the training team and the modality of IFS.  Now I know why the training is so sought after, over-subscribed and profoundly valuable.
 
Every journey of self-discovery begins with one simple step. However daunting that first step may seem, IFS offers you a guiding light and inner compass to safely navigate your pathway through your unique inner landscape. Together, within the powerful container of IFS therapy, you can begin to better understand your past, present and future with more health, happiness and trust in your Self.

Struggling to catch those Z's? 😴 As a counsellor and psychotherapist, I'm here to help you achieve the restful sleep you deserve. 💤 Here are some simple yet effective sleep tips to help you drift off peacefully.

Manage stress and anxiety: Practice stress-reduction techniques such as mindfulness meditation, progressive muscle relaxation, or journaling to ease your mind before bedtime.

Stick to a consistent sleep schedule: Try to go to bed and wake up at the same time every day, even on weekends. This helps regulate your body's internal clock and promotes better sleep quality.

Create a relaxing bedtime routine: Wind down before bed with calming activities like reading, taking a warm bath, or practicing relaxation techniques such as deep breathing or gentle yoga stretches.
