Starting to feel like me again.

2025 didn’t kick off the way I planned—multiple surgeries and weeks in the hospital had me completely out of routine. But I’m finally getting my momentum back with training and nutrition.

My goals have shifted. No extremes. No pressure. Just consistent weight training, eating well, and enjoying the process.

I lost a lot of muscle with all the running and being unwell for over 6 weeks—but I’m rebuilding slowly and steadily.

This year is about balance. About health. About doing it because I love it.

Let’s go.

Interval Wednesdays are back

Today was 8x1k @4:15 pace with a 400m jog between each round.

Legs are feeling it after a lower body session yesterday in the gym but as they say, ‘we move’

As my coach said ‘big dreams require had work and sacrifice’

And what’s exactly what I’m going to do.

First tempo run compete.

Averaged 7:16 minute miles across 5 miles.

Definitely the fastest I have ever ran during that sort of distance.

Took me to a slightly dark place but I pushed through and we got the work done.

Very happy with todays run.

Now time to try and recover for legs tomorrow in the gym!
