Month 3 for Bonita ✨

Just three months after her Deep Plane Facelift and Deep Plane Neck Lift, Bonita’s results have beautifully settled. The tightness has softened, swelling has reduced, and her face now looks rested, lifted, and naturally contoured.

Before surgery, Bonita was concerned about
sagging jowls, deep neck lines, loss of cheek volume, and lax skin with little definition.
These are all signs of ageing that occur deeper than the skin, which is why a deep plane approach was the right solution for her.

Have I made a horrible mistake?

That’s often the thought process for some patients seeing themselfs straight after a Face Lift!

The first days after a face and neck lift can be the hardest. You wake up swollen, bruised, tight and sometimes you barely recognise yourself. It’s easy to panic and wonder if you’ll ever look normal again.

But this is part of the process. The swelling is at its worst in the beginning, then little by little things start to change. By the second week you notice bruising fading and your jawline beginning to show. By week three you feel more like yourself again, with the results becoming clearer each day!

The most important thing is to stay calm and remind yourself that you won’t look like those early days forever. Healing takes time, but the transformation is worth it ✨

We posted before and after results straight after surgery and got a lot of people asking here and on TikTok to see an update further down the line.

Here it is! 😍

Mummy Makeover (Tummy with Breasts) performed by .amirnakhdjevani : The second image shows all the areas we addressed, including the separated muscles, the overhang of skin, stretch marks, and sagging breasts.

We also received many comments asking about the harsh definition in the midline (Champagne groove) straight after surgery. This is due to how the skin is stitched onto the abdominal muscles, and once the swelling starts, it can exaggerate this. But Three months later, you can see the contour and definition have softened and taken a lovely, elegant shape, with natural curves and a flat tummy, and the midline groove has now softened to a natural, soft, athletic groove. ✨
