ScarWork has been developed to improve the condition and integration of scar tissue. It is new to the UK and I am one of only 100 therapists in the UK able to offer this specialised scar treatment. ScarWork was developed in America by Sharon Wheeler and uses no oils or machines and feels like a dry massage. As skin heals after an operation, the different layers under the skin get stuck together as the body works to close and heal the wound. 👂Needles deliver stronger, deeper stimulation- better for immediate relief (think pain, insomnia, anxiety)
