Grosvenor and St James Medical Practice will be closed from 12:30 pm on Thursday 5th March 2026 for mandatory GP and staff training. We will re-open at 8am on Friday 6th March 2026.

If you require medical assistance that cannot wait until Friday morning, please contact NHS 111 or in the event of an emergency dial 999.

The Kent Local Medical Committee (LMC) who support practices in our area have put out a press release today regarding the IT system issues that have affected GP practices across the South East all day today and which are still not yet resolved.
Thank you so much to all patients today who saw we were doing our very best to continue to care for our patients and who understood the pressures we have been under. Your understanding and kindness are always appreciated!

Please bear with us this morning - the NHS systems are experiencing issues which seem to be affecting Kent/Surrey/Sussex. We are doing our best to keep up with incoming communications but everything is running very slowly/some systems are not available. Thank you for your understanding

Grosvenor and St James Medical Practice would like to wish all our patients a lovely Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thank you for all the kind words and wishes, cards and gifts - we are truly grateful and appreciative.
St James Medical Practice will close at 12:30 pm on Christmas Eve and Grosvenor Medical Centre will close at 6:30 pm.
Both practices will reopen on Monday 29th December 2025 at 8 am.
We will also then be closing on New Year's Eve (31st December) at 6:30 pm and re-opening on Friday 2nd January 2026 at 8 am.
