Look no further than our Fundamentals Yoga Class every Tuesday morning at 11.30 am with Melissa.

This class is exclusively designed for beginners, or those looking to explore their practice from a place of unknowing.

It’s a class to begin truly learning and understanding yoga in your own body and exploring how yoga feels right for you.
 
Open to every inquisitive beginner, no matter age, gender, fitness level or ability.

Nobody need feel intimidated about coming to the mat the first time. Yoga is not a competitive sport, but a holistic mind, body and spirit tradition.

This is one of our two classes designed for beginners in mind, if Tuesday at 11.30 am doesn’t suit then perhaps Wednesday at 7.30 pm will?

Ever tried Rocket Yoga?

Now’s your chance… Join Charlotte every Monday at 6 pm for this dynamic and challenging practice based on the Ashtanga series but made to be more accessible.
 
This Rocket class offers a relaxed atmosphere, encouraging each practitioner to grow their confidence safely and their ability gradually.
 
Designed to build strength, there are opportunities to play with inversions but options are always offered if you’re not comfortable going upside down.  
 
Expect a mix of dynamic vinyasa and held postures, moving fluidly while also giving you time to feel each shape in your body.

We’ll move with energy & build heat, while inviting you to listen and adjust the pace to what feels right for you.

Indulge in a two hour Extended Practice with Alice

This Sunday, 25th January, you can enjoy a full luxurious two hour yoga practice with Alice.

Sometimes what your practice really needs is time and space. Time to let things land and space to explore and play.

Expect long, nourishing warm-ups, juicy dynamic flows, breath work, meditation, free movement, and plenty of time to linger in postures and explore new shapes and techniques.

We’ll finish with a slow, indulgent cool-down and deep relaxation, allowing time for the experience to fully land in your body and integrate.

Open to all levels, this class strives to meet the abilities in the room and is for anyone curious to learn, play, and grow in their practice.

When: Sunday 25th January, (and every last Sunday in the month) 9 am - 11 am

Follow the classical Hatha Yoga path…

You have two opportunities each week to join Sonja for Hatha Yoga, Tuesday evening at 7.30 pm or Thursday morning at 9.30 am.

This class is woven from the classical Hatha Yoga system that focuses on alignment and enquiry into the body.
 
Each class with have a theme or physical focus point that will change weekly. The class will develop strength and suppleness, increase range of motion and release stress.

Traditional prāṇāyāma will be explored at the beginning of the class along with safe ‘enjoyable challenges’ sprinkled along the way.

Sonja qualified in 2018 under the Triyoga 350 hr programme, trained by Anna Ashby and Tony Watson. Her Hatha yoga classes are alignment based and anatomically focused, exploring traditional prāṇāyāma techniques
 
These classes with Sonja are open to all levels, be sure to book in advance.

HELP US WELCOME MELISSA TO OUR TEACHING TEAM AT FLOW.

Melissa will bring two new classes to Flow from Tuesday, 6th January. Choose from:

Fundamentals at 11.30 am. This class is perfect for beginners or those looking to explore their practice from a place of unknowing. Nobody needs to feel intimidated about coming to the mat for the first time. Yoga is not a competitive sport, but a holistic mind, body and spirit tradition.

Reset & Nurture at 1 pm. This lunchtime yoga class is an excellent opportunity to move through some mindful vinyasa poses to awaken and refresh. Each session will start with time to reconnect with a full conscious breath, finding calm. A guided slow flow to build strength, joint stability, spinal health and flexibility, but equally nurturing with prompts and adaptations always offered. It will finish with a fully supported restorative posture using blankets and bolsters, offering an opportunity to feel fully ‘held’, allowing fascial release and relaxation.

Melissa’s yoga journey began in the 1990s, and over time, she’s become increasingly reliant on the practice’s ability to navigate the ebb and flow of life rather than fight it.

She completed her initial training with Simon Low and The Yoga Academy in Yang and Yin yoga in 2018. She continued with further OTT courses with the academy, including restorative yoga and pain management. In 2019, Melissa successfully completed Flow’s own Applied Anatomy Course, and in 2022, she trained with Vicky Fox in London to lead yoga for those living with cancer.

Melissa says, “My passion for practice and learning continues, and I love sharing yoga with others who will also enjoy its positive influence on life. My desire is always to guide yoga as a nurturing, safe practice. With an emphasis on spinal health, whilst creating emotional space to navigate your body internally and leave feeling lighter, stronger and more flexible, both physically and mentally.”

Pregnancy and labour are one of the biggest anatomical, physiological and hormonal experiences you’ll ever encounter in your life.

Join Amy’s Pregnancy yoga class to help alleviate the common symptoms associated with pregnancy as well as providing an opportunity for you to connect to your changing body and growing baby.

You will learn what changes are occurring, how to feel and trust the system of the body, and how to create a holistic movement practice that will support you throughout all trimesters, including preparation for labour and birth.

There classes also offer an opportunity to ask questions, share experiences & feel supported as a group, offering connections & life long friendships.

Pregnancy Yoga is held with every Thursday at 6 pm. With special thanks to for this beautiful video.
