Yoga with Flic Gentle Yoga classes in person and on-line. Total beginners are very welcome. And breathe :) I am a qualified 250 hr yoga teacher.

We bring inner peace, mindfulness and physical yoga poses together to help us on our journey through life. I first started practising yoga when I was 18 years old and it has been part of my life since. I am influenced by different styles and my teaching is a fusion of Hatha, Ashtanga, Iyengar, Yin and Nidra yoga. My aim is to live by the Eight Limbs of Yoga, the eight-fold path as described by the ancient Indian philosopher Patanjali. Hence my yoga teaching is not just related to the physical aspect of practice but also contains elements of breathing techniques, meditation and mindfulness.

This Monday evening we will explore a gentle Body Sensing practice where we pay attention to the sensations in our body so we can stay present in the moment, instead of "being in our racing mind".

Have a rolled up towel or bolster for under the knees and pillows to support the head so the chin is lower than the forehead.
Eye bag is optional.

This Monday we use a rolled up towel to open our chest and rib cage for ease of breathing. Whilst we allow gravity to take hold, we will also practice a gentle body sesing mindfulness meditation 😊

For this class you will need a rolled up towel and a couple of cushions.

This Monday online evening class will focus on:

✴ stretching the glutes and hamstrings to help release the lower back
✴ open the rib cage and allow the diaphragm to move freely for easy breathing
✴ breath awareness and body sensing to release tension and help us be in the present

We will need a belt / strap and a rolled up towel as well as any pillows and cushions to make yourself comfortable during Savasana (sleeping / relaxation pose).
