When frames are built at this level, you start to notice things most people never will.
The Europa is a perfect example. Precision-milled titanium, finely ribbed temples, and a hinge system that feels closer to watchmaking than traditional eyewear construction. Every line and component feels deliberate.
These were sent to us by Theodore in Ohio to be completed with prescription Lens Art where the intention is always the same. Enhance the frame without distracting from it.
We began with a light blue gradient tint, keeping the lens tone clean and architectural. In sunlight, the lenses transition into an indigo dinamica photochromic deepening the colour naturally while maintaining visual comfort.
To finish, a subtle red flash mirror was applied. Almost invisible indoors, but when the light hits just right, the flash quietly reveals itself.
With frames like this, the role of Lens Art isn’t to overpower the design. It’s to complement it.
For collectors, it’s always the details that matter.
And with Akoni, there are many.
