It's never an exact science when working with fire 🔥......and before our guests headed into the sauna on Saturday we were creeping close to 100°C which is a little toasty 🥵. Typically we aim between 60 and 90°C.

So many factors affect how hot we can get the sauna and it really is a balancing act. As a sauna host, you really need to know your stove. But even then it can be impacted by:
➡️ Wood density
➡️ Air flow
➡️ Humidity
➡️ Wood quality
➡️ Wind direction
➡️ Outside temperature
➡️ How often the door gets opened 🙄

You name it......and it can impact how the stove burns and ultimately how hot we can get the sauna.

We absolutely loved our first Runner’s Reset Mini Retreat that we held last weekend ❤️ 😀!

What a lovely group of people enjoying a bit of a break from the world 🌎 and focusing on their bodies. It was a true celebration of running, movement and recovery!

You can swim in the lake first or just come for a relaxing wild sauna. If you want to swim contact the lake to register with them as it is booked separately from the sauna.

Saying goodbye January and hello to February with another wonderful Sauna & Sip afternoon at today!

The slightly soggy conditions don't take away from this beautiful setting 😍!

A perfect way to wrap up the weekend and calm your nervous system ready to take on the week ahead!
February is a month of new beginnings and we are so excited for our next spring sauna sessions at Stanlake Park Wine Estate!

Reflecting on a fabulous day at our first Runner’s Reset Mini Retreat!

We wanted to start developing events like this to give runners a place and time to fall back in love with running, reconnect with their bodies and aid recovery. Whether you are a seasoned athlete or just starting your running journey we want to create sociable and inclusive events, with an environment to help you relax, chat, run and find your flow! And we think today ticked all of those boxes ✔️.....looking forward to the next one already 🤩.

Thanks so much to our first cohort for not only signing up but for making the day so much fun 😀. We had an absolute blast and we'd love to see you either at another retreat or at a standalone sauna event really soon.

We'll get our thinking caps on for the next one 🤔. Safe to say that we can't wait to grow our Running and Recovery community ...so look out for the next one! 👀

Easthampstead Park is a stunning historic building with beautiful grounds where we will be running around. We then have the opportunity to use the calming at for our stretch/pilates session.

You can then enjoy lunch and a talk from 's PT team on Strength and Conditioning for Runners. We'll then finish up with a sauna and cold plunge session with 🔥🧊.
