It's never an exact science when working with fire π₯......and before our guests headed into the sauna on Saturday we were creeping close to 100Β°C which is a little toasty π₯΅. Typically we aim between 60 and 90Β°C.
So many factors affect how hot we can get the sauna and it really is a balancing act. As a sauna host, you really need to know your stove. But even then it can be impacted by:
β‘οΈ Wood density
β‘οΈ Air flow
β‘οΈ Humidity
β‘οΈ Wood quality
β‘οΈ Wind direction
β‘οΈ Outside temperature
β‘οΈ How often the door gets opened π
You name it......and it can impact how the stove burns and ultimately how hot we can get the sauna.
