🫐🍓🍒 Pimp your porridge! 🍒🍓🫐

Mixed Berry Porridge with Nuts and Berries🥣

Have you tried our new Mixed Berry Porridge MRP yet?
It’s super yummy and perfect for any time of day, not just for breakfast!

We’ve pimped ours up with nuts and berries

Check out our Step 2 recipe below~

To Prepare:
To your porridge, add 10g of either almonds, pumpkin, sesame or sunflower seeds then add either 100g of blueberries or 200g of strawberries (all of these are about 60-70 calories)**

Then add 100g of 5% Greek yoghurt or 170g of fat-free, Greek yoghurt

*The ingredients in this recipe have been carefully chosen so that they come in around 200 calories, with high protein and with either low carbs or fat

As they are being combined with one of our nutritionally-complete MRPs, we’ve been able to include a few ingredients that aren’t included with our Steps Booklet food chart

These meals have similar ‘macro’ (carbs, fat and protein) levels to The 1:1 Diet MRPs

Whatever has happened is done ✔️

Whether your clean up operation starts on the 1st, 2nd or 4th, stop making it all or nothing. Eating doesn’t have to be that way. Make it about balance.

When I say balance, I don’t just mean food. Tackle those excess and unwanted KG’s with a holistic approach, so think about going back to the basics...

💤 Sleep (7-8 hours)

💦 Water (minimum 2.25 litres)

🏃‍♂️ Movement (if not already exercising then start of with 15 mins of walking a day and build up)

🤪 Stress (what can you do to manage it and reduce it)

☀️ Sunlight (are you getting outside enough?)

Take it one meal at a time, focusing on the foods that make you feel good and that you’re not still wearing the next day.

“My health was declining, I felt depressed and exhausted. Walking even 10 minutes was painful. I had Type 2 Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis and thought life would always be this way.

But on a flight back from Edinburgh, I realised enough was enough. I called my Consultant Charlie and started back on Plan that very evening.

Within a week, I felt better. Within weeks, my pain disappeared, I was sleeping through the night, and to my amazement my Type 2 Diabetes was reversed and my RA went into remission.
