What a whirlwind November has been! 😅

And that’s exactly why it feels important to pause and look back at the moments, places and people that filled my cup this month.

These have included:

Quality family time.
My daughter becoming a teenager.
A walk in nature.
Celebrating love at a beautiful wedding.
The Still Space launch after a year of hard work.
Peace of Mind's 5-year anniversary

The truth is, when your work is solo and heart-led, not everyone around you will understand how big the professional milestones feel.

They mark so much hard work, passion and self belief.
Slowly I’m learning to be my own cheerleader🤗, and to reflect, appreciate and honour the work I’m doing - for myself and my community.

Looking back helps me look forward with more clarity… and more excitement for everything still to come.

I was 17 the first time I heard this mantra, taken from a Buddhist 'Loving Kindness' meditation … but I didn’t know how to offer it to myself. ❤️

This week in Pause and Restore, we’ve reached Week 3 — The Gift of Love and Kindness.

And the practice at the heart of our class is a Metta Bhavana (Loving Kindness), one that has stayed with me for 25 years.

The first time I heard these words, I struggled to direct them inward. I actually used to skip sending the love to me.

Self-kindness felt unfamiliar — even uncomfortable. But what I have learned is this:

✨ The more uncomfortable it feels, the more we need it.

So I practised. Gently. Slowly. And over time, these words became a place of safety and familiarity — a way back to myself.

In this week’s guided meditations, we soften self-judgement, reconnect with our inner light, and practise offering compassion first to ourselves, then outward to others.

If the mantra feels strange or difficult, you’re not doing it wrong — you’re doing the real work.

21.11.12 🤍The day I became a parent - and everything changed.

A new path, a new challenge (every single day), and a new kind of love I never knew existed.

Being a parent is a responsibility that can feel heavy, overwhelming and exhausting at times, but one I hold with such deep gratitude.

My beautiful girl — I’m so proud to be your parent and to share some of your incredible journey with you.
I’ve loved every version of you I’ve witnessed, and look forward to every version still to come. Always be you.
