✨ Our Festive Opening Hours & A Little Studio Reset ✨

As we move into this cosy, reflective time of year, our team are taking a few well deserved days to rest, breathe and recharge. The studio will be closed on:

24th, 25th & 26th December
31st December, 1st & 2nd January

Everything else remains open as normal, with classes running throughout the festive period.

Over the next couple of weeks you may notice a few new teaching faces in the studio as our team take staggered breaks. Please give them a warm Flow welcome, say hello, and enjoy experiencing different styles and energies. It’s a beautiful chance to meet the wider Flow family and stay connected to your practice during this busy month.

Thank you for supporting us, showing up, and allowing us to create space for you this year. We’re so grateful for every single person who walks through our doors.

Here’s to slowing down, looking after ourselves, and moving into the new year with softness, intention and a full heart. 🤍✨

It’s dark, rainy and pretty dull today (although this is my fave weather) but that doesn’t mean your whole day has to feel that way.

Days like this can pull your energy down without you even noticing, so it’s the perfect moment to pause and change your focus back to what’s good. What’s real. What’s already here.

Ask yourself gently,
✨What am I grateful for today?
✨What’s one thing in my life that feels warm, steady or beautiful?

It doesn’t need to be something big.
Maybe it’s your morning cup of tea, a quiet moment to breathe, someone who loves you, or maybe the fact that you made it through another Monday.

Gratitude isn’t about pretending everything is perfect. It’s about remembering that even on the dullest days, there is still light in your life and you’re allowed to notice it.

✨ Nervous System Reset Sound Bath
Sunday 14th December, 4–5pm ✨

A full-body exhale before the busyness of Christmas.

If you’ve been on the go constantly, juggling work, family, plans, emotions and everything in between, your body has probably been stuck in “on” mode for far too long. This 60-minute sound bath is designed to help you switch out of stress and into a state your body is desperate for, deep rest.

Here is what happens in a sound bath 👇🏼
Sound frequencies gently guide the brain into alpha and theta states, which are linked to calm, creativity and emotional release.

These states also stimulate the vagus nerve, which helps the body shift into the parasympathetic nervous system, the place where we breathe slower, tension melts, heart rate settles, and the mind finally softens.

This is a space to let your system reset. A space to feel held, supported and safe. A space where the world outside can wait for just one hour.

As Christmas approaches and life becomes heavier, louder and faster, this session is your reminder that you get to pause. You get to rest. You get to take care of yourself before taking care of everything else.

You’ll leave feeling clearer, grounded and more able to handle the weeks ahead with ease instead of overwhelm.

Ever wonder why breathwork makes you feel calmer, lighter, and clearer?

When you change your breath, you change your chemistry. Slow, mindful breathing lowers cortisol, increases oxygen flow to your brain and gently signals to your body that you are safe.

A simple practice for today:
Place one hand on your heart, one on your belly.
Breathe in for 4, hold for 2, out for 6.
Do this 5 times and notice how your whole energy shifts.

✨Longer exhales activate your vagus nerve, which brings your nervous system back into balance. It’s one of the quickest ways to move from stress to steadiness.

Meet Emma, our newest addition to our team 🧘‍♀️

We are incredibly excited to welcome Emma into the studio for two amazing classes starting in January 2026! Emma is a pure soul with the most vibrant energy. Her practice reflects her love for yoga and she will always make you feel welcomed and accepted.

Every week, you’ll see Emma in the studio on a Tuesday 12-12:45 for a Hatha Practice, and Thursday 12:12:45 for a Vinyasa Practice. I cannot wait to attend these.

🎄 A December Reminder:
You’re allowed to slow down.

This month can feel like a whirlwind.
Nights out, festive plans, school events, family visits, shopping, wrapping, organising, it’s a lot. And somewhere in the rush, we forget that we aren’t built to run on glitter and adrenaline alone.

So here’s your gentle nudge:

✨ You don’t need to say yes to everything.
✨ You don’t need to match everyone else’s energy.
✨ You’re allowed to rest, even in December.
✨ You can choose presence over pressure.

Your nervous system matters.
Your peace matters.
Your joy matters.

Give yourself permission to leave early, to take quiet moments, to breathe, to be human. The world won’t fall apart if you slow down, but you might fall apart if you don’t.

This month, remember:
Your wellbeing is worth more than any to-do list.
Protect your energy. Honour your limits. And don’t burn yourself out trying to make everything perfect.

Yvonne has many years of teaching experience and has such a beautiful practice where she’s inclusive of all abilities. She has a kind heart, beautiful soul and she’s ready to welcome you into the studio as she covers some classes over December BUT has her permanent class starting on the timetable in January 2026!

From 4th January 2026, 9-10am, Join Yvonne on Sunday’s for a beautiful Slow Flow to melt away the week.

When was the last time you actually let yourself slow down and feel your own body, your own breath, your own mind without rushing to the next thing? When you soften into that space, you stop performing and start being. You come back to yourself. That’s where the real power is, in the quiet moments where you let your feminine lead, where you surrender, where you remember who you are underneath all the noise.

Yoga Nidra & Sound Healing: An Evening of Deep Rest
Monday 3rd November | 7.00pm – 8.15pm

If you are tired in a way that sleep does not seem to fix, this evening is for you. If your mind never really switches off, even when you are lying in bed, this evening is for you. If you spend most of your day holding everything together for everyone else, this evening is for you.

Join me for 75 minutes of complete nervous system reset. We will begin by settling your body, softening the breath, and gently guiding you out of “doing” mode and into a state of deep rest. You will lie down, get cosy with blankets and cushions, and be led through a guided Yoga Nidra practice, often called “yogic sleep.” It is a beautiful, effortless meditation that walks you through the layers of the body and mind so you can finally let go of the mental load you have been carrying.

As you rest, you will be held in a cocoon of sound. Crystal singing bowls, chimes and other healing instruments will support your body to relax even more, helping to calm a busy mind, ease anxiety and release some of the stress your body has been quietly storing. You do not need any experience. You do not need to be “good” at relaxing. You simply have to lie down, breathe, and allow yourself to receive.

You might be coming because you feel overwhelmed, burnt out, stuck in your head, or you have not felt truly present in your own life for a while. My intention is that you leave feeling lighter, more grounded, and a little more like yourself again, with a softer body, a calmer mind and a sense that everything does not have to be carried all at once.

All you need to bring is yourself, comfortable clothing and some water. I will take care of the rest 🙏🏽
