“Children develop at their own pace, they’ll get there”… while it’s completely true, this is also the same reason why some things are often missed 💭

👶🏼 there could be multiple reasons as to why a baby is late to roll, or crawl, or walk. Hoping it’ll come any time now for too long can be at the detriment of the child.

I always say that parents are the experts of their child, however, there’s no negative of seeking specialist, professional help 🦸🏻‍♂️

🦶Stretching exercises might be recommended in some cases of metatarsus adductus. However, the condition goes away by itself in most children. Treatment with casts or special shoes is occasionally needed. Surgery is rarely necessary

Flexible metatarsus adductus tends to persist until 1 – 2 years of age. In the majority of cases, the foot goes back to normal.

In a small portion of cases, the foot stays moderately deformed.

In rare cases, the foot continues to be stiff and deformed even after treatment.
