I’m a bit of a serial dieter myself, well I was, I’ve always been overweight, feel like I’ve spent my adult life on a diet, and then one day a friend suggested Slimming World and I haven’t looked back. I was terrified to first step on those scales, I had over 8 stone to lose but it was the best thing I ever did. Yes it’s scary to embark on a weight loss journey, even harder in some ways to re-start one or come back to one when you’ve tried before, but very few of us get it right first time. After I lost my weight and got to target I couldn’t stop telling everyone about Slimming World and it made perfect sense for me to become a consultant, and I’m so glad I did! I couldn’t be prouder of our group and the support my members give each other and the weight losses they achieve. This is even more true currently, while we can’t be in a room together just yet we are still very much a group, still a community, still losing weight and still supporting each other.
