I heard today on BBC news that 8 million people in the UK in 2022 were prescribed anti-depressants; 2 million of these had been receiving anti-depressants for over 5 years. I can’t help thinking that perhaps a different approach might be better! I felt sorry for the poor doctors having to prescribe this amount of medication.
