NHS Highland is highlighting lymphoedema this month to help increase understanding of this long‑term condition, which affects many people across Highland.

Lymphoedema can impact mobility, comfort and confidence, but early recognition and support can make a real difference. Our lymphoedema service works with people to help manage symptoms, improve quality of life and support self‑management.

This week we welcome Urszula and Lucy, two 4th year Medical Students from Aberdeen University who will be with us for 5 weeks. They join George, who has been here since August last year and who by now is hopefully a very familiar face.
Urszula, Lucy and George will be observing the Clinicians whilst here and this forms a very important part of their medical education.
However, if you would prefer to see the Clinician alone then please let Reception know when booking your appointment.

‼️Save the Date – Friday 13th March, 12pm-3:30pm‼️

Across Highland, nearly 1 in 3 unpaid Carers (32%) are living with a disability or long-term health condition while also caring for someone else, yet too often, their experiences go unseen and unheard.

On Friday 13th March, Connecting Carers will unveil the findings from groundbreaking new research that brings these hidden experiences into the spotlight. This research reveals the realities, challenges, and resilience of unpaid Carers living with long-term conditions and/or disabilities and why their voices matter now more than ever.

Join us for an inspiring and thought-provoking event, with lunch and refreshments provided, as we share the findings and explore how we can better recognise, support, and represent this often-invisible community.

Tickets available soon, keep an eye out!
