Nourishing Sound and Gong Bath

We have 2 sessions to choose from:
5.30pm-6.45pm or 7.15pm-8.30pm
As we move into the darker months we are invited to slow down, rest and be nourished.Experience a guided relaxation/meditation as you are bathed in the transformational sounds and vibrations of gongs, singing bowls and other instruments to take you to a deeper state of consciousness a place where your own healing can begin. Let the busy thinking mind quieten and find the peace and stillness within. £15 booking essential

In yoga, precise alignment isn’t the ultimate goal—adaptability, safety, and functional movement are.

While aesthetics matter in dance or performance, for everyday health and yoga practice, “approximate alignment” is enough, especially under load.

This is where the concept of a neutral spine comes in: a posture that’s neither over-arched nor flattened, allowing safe force transmission through the joints and protecting the lower back. In asanas, maintaining a neutral spine—engaging core and lifting hips slightly above the knees when seated—supports joint safety, prevents strain, and lets you move fluidly while practicing poses like forward bends, chair pose, or plank.
