Chippenham Community Hub

Chippenham Community Hub The Hub is by the community for the community. Finding solutions. We offer support, drop in advice, social inclusion for loneliness and educational courses too.

We provide primarily signposting to resolve any problems whereby people need to know who to speak with to resolve their issue. As a Hub we provide facilities for Non-profit Organisations to attend for recreational and wellbeing. We have Chippenham organisations attending weekly like Chippenham Knatty Knitters to give social aspects to the Community. We run courses from the Hub in Employability skills, Basic IT and Personal Finance. We have more coming in the New Year. We work with over 50 organisations we work with and some of these organisations set up regularly in the Hub for contact. We work with Rethink Mental Health, Swan Advocacy, Read-Easy, Fraud Prevention and Wiltshire Sight. We are here to support and operate for the public benefit, help deal with poverty and aid social inclusion. Please pop in for a chat and more information.

Please note our new group starts tonight at 6.30pm and we look forward to seeing you.๐Ÿ˜

We hope to see new faces and have opened this group later in the day to become inclusive of all the people sat at home during the evening alone and wanting a bit of company and a chat.

Working from home and living alone can be very isolating so we do feel that this group will be very good for the wellbeing.๐Ÿ˜ŠIt will also give those that cannot come during the day due to work commitments the opportunity to find out more about what we do within the Community.

See you all at 6.30pm.

Please do come along if you would like to talk with others and join our group with some lovely people who have been touched by cancer and share their stories.

Super friendly people and a coffee.

Why Neurodiversity is a Game-Changer for All

When sport becomes neuro-inclusive, everyone benefits.

Research shows traits like hyperfocus and pattern recognition give neurodivergent athletes a competitive edge in high-pressure environments

Experts highlight sport as a safe haven: the structure of training, clear roles, repetition, and sensory feedback support many neurodivergent minds

Neurodiverse Sport emphasises that sport isnโ€™t just a pastimeโ€”it can be a lifeline, a source of belonging and mental well-being

Letโ€™s commit to design inclusivity into our athletic cultureโ€”from grassroots to elite levelsโ€”so that every individual can bring their whole selves to play.
