Reiki_Manchester_Uk Hello, I am a Reiki Practitioner Level 2 providing one to one treatments in Manchester. There are 2 main Reiki traditions. What is Reiki -

Trained at the Reiki Academy London, the remarkable benefits of Reiki therapies are becoming more and more recognised and offered by the NHS. I have been trained by a Reiki master of both lineages. Usui Shiki Ryoho
Is the traditional Western lineage, going back to Mikao Usui. Brought to the West by Mrs Hawayo Takata in 1936, the most popular and widely accepted tradition. Usui Reiki Ryoko
This lineage also goes back to Mikao Usui, but shrouded in secrecy in Japan until the 1980s. Now becoming more and more popular, and also taught by many in the West. Both systems are equally valid, and students of any Master teaching either of the above will be properly attuned to Reiki.
