I was asked to explain why we do not advertise commercial services in the Coastal Centre Window or on The Coastal Centre Mablethorpe pages.
Basically we do not want to be seen to support any one commercial organisation. The other is if a service supplied by a commercial organisation has not provide the service to a user’s satisfaction we do not want to have people coming back to us stating that we advertised the service and they expect us to take some responsibility.
There is however some exception if that commercial organisation such as a pub is running a charitable event we will advertise that event. We will also advertise commercial events taking place at a hall run as a charity which most of them are.
I hope this clarifies the situation and hope you will also keep us informed of activities taking place in and around the area..
