Someone visits their dentist. Gets a mouth guard. Does the jaw exercises. Takes the pain medication when it gets really bad.

The flow of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) is not just a mechanical process — it’s a rhythm.
It relies on healthy breathing, a free lymphatic system, and subtle mobility between the skull sutures and the spine.

Monks are a beautiful example of this.
Daily practices of slow breathing, chanting, humming and prayer naturally regulate the nervous system and support a strong, coherent craniosacral rhythm — often reflected in long-term health, clarity and resilience.

On the other hand, chronic stress, anxiety and trauma often lead to shallow, rapid breathing. Over time this can disrupt CSF dynamics, lymphatic drainage and nervous system balance, contributing to a wide range of physical and emotional conditions.
