This is a new campaign based on the Isle of Man to help promote Mental Wellbeing on the Island. We started with the idea of a local musician, affect by the su***de of his friend, to get something into the local bars, pubs and clubs to act as a trigger to get help for people suffering from mental problems. But people want to help more, to raise more awareness, to let our community know that we all care and that we don’t want to lose anymore of our friends and family. So we are blossoming out, we’re going to run a year of events to raise awareness and money for local charities. Culminating in the Villa Marina with an awesome local music event on Friday 27th of November, but with events all around the Island in advance. The charities we are working with include Praxis Care, Ballamona Association for Mental Health, Reach, the Samaritans Isle of Man and Isle Listen.

If you’re struggling, talk. There are always people there, your friends and family need and want to know if you’re not o.k. If you need professional help talk to your G.P. who will refer you to the right people, or you can self-refer yourself to Mental Health Services. If you need immediate Crisis Help right now please call 624860, there are people who can help!

We must point out we are not Mental Health Professionals, we can not offer any individual guidance, however we will try to promote official support services within specialised areas more to the general public.

ANYONE IN NEED OF HELP SHOULD START THE PROCESS WITH THEIR G.P.
