✨ For those who are celebrating right now, I’m wishing you a beautiful and meaningful time in whatever way feels right for you.

Personally, I’m not feeling the usual rhythm of it all — rather detached from the 3D noise, floating somewhere quieter and deeper — and that’s okay. Not everything has to make sense to the mind when the soul is in a different season.

Today we’re celebrating Marc’s birthday, and soon we’ll be welcoming Imbolc on the 2nd of February — the gentle spark of returning light, new beginnings, and the first whispers of spring.

However you’re moving through this moment, I’m sending love to everyone. May you find what you need, in your own way, in your own time. ✨

✨ Do You Know Why Many Celebrate Yule at Sunset? ✨

As the Winter Solstice arrives, we honour the turning of the wheel — the moment when the longest night gives way to the slow return of the light. While some greet the first sunrise after the Solstice, many traditions hold their Yule celebrations at sunset, and here’s why:

🌒 Welcoming the Light
The Solstice marks the end of winter’s deepest darkness. For some, greeting the first rays of sun after the Solstice is a powerful symbol of rebirth and renewal. But the journey begins the night before — at sunset — when we consciously step into the longest night with intention.

🪨 Ancient Alignments
Sacred sites like Stonehenge are aligned to capture the midwinter sunset, reminding us that our ancestors honoured this threshold moment. While sunrise also holds meaning for many pagans, the sunset alignment speaks to the ancient recognition of the night as a sacred passage.

🔥 Yule Traditions & the Longest Night
Yule is deeply rooted in the experience of the longest night:
- Feasting to bring warmth and community
- Lighting candles and the Yule log to invite light into the home
- Gathering around fire as a symbol of hope, endurance, and the returning sun

These traditions come alive as darkness falls, making sunset the natural beginning of the celebration.

🌑 A Time for Reflection
Sunset marks the shortest day of the year, a moment that invites stillness. Many use this time for:
