Welcome to everyone who joined us for event 472 today including three who completed their first ever junior parkrun! 👋
Many congratulations to Reuben who received his marathon wristband and Micah who received his half marathon wristband! Mighty Milestones! 🥳
Nice to see the chicken dance on display again this week to get the juniors a bit of space at the start line 🐔

On Sunday 14th December the Plumstead Runners will be holding their annual run in Lesnes Abbey. Marshals are required and the race starts at 11am. If you are able to help you can sign up through this form.

The date for this year's Lesnes Abbey 5 is Sunday 14th December 2025. We hope as many Plums as possible can help marshal at this year's event. Marshalling is from 9am – 1pm(ish), the race starts at 11am sharp.

Thank you to our twenty happy and helpful volunteers today. We really appreciate you being there to make sure the event goes ahead safely and hope you had lots of fun! ❤️

Many congratulations too, to our wristband recipients. Gabriel has completed 21 junior parkruns and Albie, Kalina and Aleksandar have ALL completed over 50 junior events earning them their ultra marathon wristbands! 🥳

Congratulations on another junior event with 52 spooky and scary children taking part. Well done to Thomas for his 50th event (ultra marathon band) and happy birthday Finley. 11 today. Huge thank you to all the volunteers for their encouragement including David tail walking. See you next week!

Well done to the 41 kids who joined us on this lovely Sunday morning. We had 2 first timers so a big welcome and congratulations to them. We also had a whooping 14 personal best efforts so a massive well done 👍

18 volunteers gave up their time so the event could go ahead - we thank each and everyone of you 🙌

Next week will be our Halloween run so please feel free to come dressed up and that includes the adults as well 👻 🧙‍♀️🎃🕷️
