Join us in spreading some Christmas cheer 🎄✨ Sleights Community Hub is opening its doors on Christmas Day to offer a completely free 3-course festive lunch for those who may otherwise be alone. Detail below - Wonderful initiative!

🎄🎅🏼 FREE CHRISTMAS DAY LUNCH🎅🏼🎄

We at Sleights Community Hub would like to share that we are opening up on Christmas Day and offering a 3 course Christmas Lunch for FREE cooked by local chef Karl.

Karl has volunteered at the Moses Project for several years cooking Christmas Lunch for approx. 140 people, unfortunately the moses project is doing something different this year and through the power of connections Karl has been introduced to Sleights Community Hub.

We are offering 40 places allocated on first come basis and meets the referral criteria and referred by a professional.

The Day
Arrival at from 11:00
Serving of a 3 course lunch 12:30
The Kings Speech
Opening of a token Christmas gift
A Christmas themed quiz

The Menu
Starter - a choice of 2 soups with warm bread rolls and butter
Main - traditional Christmas lunch
Pudding - Christmas pudding with brandy sauce or chocolate fudge cake
Teas, coffee, mince pies, Christmas cake, cheese and crackers.

Referral Criteria
- Lives alone
- Isolated or at risk of isolation
- Will be alone on Christmas
- No close family or friends
- Over 50 years old
- Carer and loved one living with dementia
- Must be able to get to and from Sleights Community Hub independently
- Referrals to be sent to sleightscommunityhub@outlook.com
- Referrals to be received by 15/12/2025

We would greatly welcome any donations and volunteers to help out on the day.

💜 A few simple ways to help keep them safe and comfortable this evening:

👀 5 Early Signs a Loved One Might Need Extra Support
