I once heard a Buddhist monk talking about 'life' and how we, as humans, are either thinking about the past or worrying about the future, that we often forget to just be in the present. We have more time saving devices now than ever before yet we are so busy, cramming as much as we can into our days, to do lists as long as our arms, heads ready to explode with all the thoughts going round. Stress is at an all time high and 1 in 3 of us experience mental ill health. Taking time to JustBe... whatever that means to you, can help you feel more grounded and relaxed. Whatever you need to do to feel more calmer and in control. Finding what works for you and making time in your day to JustBe. An awareness of our triggers and how certain people or situations affect us and taking control of these to protect our mental health and well-being.
