The family of Joe Preece would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to everyone for the overwhelming love and kindness shown following his passing. It has been deeply comforting to know how much Joe was loved and the difference he made in so many lives.
We are especially grateful to the many family and friends who travelled from far and wide to attend Joe’s funeral, along with everyone who visited the house, sent cards, flowers, and wrote such thoughtful letters. Your support brought us great comfort during a difficult time.

Special thanks to the following for all of the professionalism and respect they demonstrated, and for all the work carried out to give Joe the special send-off he so richly deserved - The Ministers Gavin Black and Danny Connolly, Steven Stewart Funeral Directors, The Soldiers from The Scottish and North Irish Yeomanry who provided the guard of honour. The Regimental Associations of the 15th/19th The King’s Royal Hussars, The Light Dragoons, and The Fife and Forfar Yeomanry. The Royal British Legion Scotland including the Riders Branch, The Rural Florist, Tina’s Little Café and the piper and organist.

We would also like to sincerely thank everyone for their generous donations in Joe’s memory, raising £1,978.67 for the charity CHAS.

Forever thankful, From Carole, Joseph and Michaela.
