If you are a patient whether your contact with FCMS is via NHS 111, urgent care, a diagnostic test, a dental appointment, through one of our community outreach services, or via a remote consultation you will always be treated with dignity and respect. We are proud to innovate and we utilise the very latest technology to support clinicians in their day-to-day work. We also take pride in the development of our people and support colleagues to grow in their roles, acquire new skills and obtain recognised qualifications. FCMS is a social enterprise and we are fully committed to reinvesting into staff development and wellbeing, as well as improving patient care and supporting the communities in which we work and live. We work closely with local charity partners to maximise the social value that we can deliver to our local communities. This can be for several reasons like poor mobility, weather or finances but it means they are missing essential medications which could make their health condition worse.

Blackpool Council is encouraging residents at higher risk to get their free flu jab this winter. Walk-in clinics across Blackpool and the Fylde Coast make it quick and convenient to stay protected, with COVID-19 vaccinations also available for eligible individuals.

Our mobile flu vaccination clinic in Blackpool featured on BBC News, as part of their report on the rise in flu cases this year.

With flu infections increasing earlier and faster than in previous seasons - and lower vaccine uptake being highlighted as a factor - our mobile team is working hard to make vaccination more accessible in our community.

We’re so proud of our amazing dental team for their thoughtful contributions to the Blackpool Salvation Army Christmas Present Appeal! 🎁✨

They’ve collected a wonderful amount of gifts for children, young adults, and vulnerable people who would have had very little or nothing to open Christmas morning.

We’re excited to be heading down to the Southbank Centre in London this evening for the awards ceremony!

The nomination celebrates all of the fantastic work of our teams and the partners we work with to deliver high quality care, tackle the wider determinants of health and strengthen our communities.

Last year, we marked 30 years since our founding and being shortlisted amongst all of the other amazing social enterprises from across the country feels like a fitting milestone as we look ahead to our next chapter!
