π¨ Creative Visit to GOMA βοΈ
Last Friday we had a wonderful outing to GOMA, where we spent time engaging creatively with our surroundings through simple drawing and observation activities inside the gallery πΌοΈβ¨
The aim was to slow down and really notice the details around us β patterns π·, colours π¨, shapes πΆ, and forms β and see what might spark creative inspiration π‘
Through mindful looking and short creative exercises, such as:
βοΈ Drawing without taking the pen off the paper
π Sketching without looking at the page
β¦we gave ourselves time to pause, reflect, and observe more deeply πΏπ§
It was also a chance to:
ποΈ Build confidence using different drawing materials
π¨ Explore creative expression through experimentation
βοΈ Enjoy playful sketching and trying new ideas
Along the way, we also wrote down our thoughts and responses to the artworks π. It was a lovely reminder that creativity doesnβt have to be perfect β it just needs curiosity and openness πβ¨
