🎨 Creative Visit to GOMA ✏️
Last Friday we had a wonderful outing to GOMA, where we spent time engaging creatively with our surroundings through simple drawing and observation activities inside the gallery 🖼️✨
The aim was to slow down and really notice the details around us — patterns 🔷, colours 🎨, shapes 🔶, and forms — and see what might spark creative inspiration 💡
Through mindful looking and short creative exercises, such as:
✏️ Drawing without taking the pen off the paper
👀 Sketching without looking at the page
…we gave ourselves time to pause, reflect, and observe more deeply 🌿🧠
It was also a chance to:
🖌️ Build confidence using different drawing materials
🎨 Explore creative expression through experimentation
✏️ Enjoy playful sketching and trying new ideas
Along the way, we also wrote down our thoughts and responses to the artworks 📝. It was a lovely reminder that creativity doesn’t have to be perfect — it just needs curiosity and openness 💭✨
