Micro Wellness Tip: Take a moment to connect with today by acknowledging what made you feel good.

List five things that made you laugh or smile.

Say them out loud. Share them with someone. Or write them down in your journal.

Gratitude is one of the greatest ways to bring positivity into your life.

There is something quietly powerful about a bucket list.

Not a list of distant dreams, but a set of intentional goals—each one with a purpose, a direction, and a date. When you choose “this by that,” you begin to shape your life with clarity and meaning.

I was reminded of this recently while reading with my son, Freddie. When we reached page 100, he looked up and said, “Look Mum, we’ve made it to 100.” In that moment, those pages felt like life itself.

There is nothing beyond page 100.
There may well be nothing beyond 70.

Each page is a chapter you don’t get back.

So how are you choosing to colour yours?

Are you moving toward your goals?
Are you creating moments that feel alive, meaningful, and intentional?

At Zest Life, our Yoga & Snowdon Hiking Retreat is created for exactly this kind of experience, something that challenges you, grounds you, and leaves a lasting imprint.

It's taken 15 years to get there but this retreat ticks every box.

We have just two places remaining this June.

If this is your moment to say yes, we would love to welcome you.

Micro Wellness Tip: 🌿 Take a moment to pause and watch nature unfold.

A bird feeder at your window can be a simple way to invite more stillness into your day. Notice the movement, the colours, the small details of life in motion.

Let your breathing slow as you observe, without needing to do anything. Just watch, and allow yourself to drop into the present.

Over the years, I’ve found places that truly stay with you, Scotland is most definitely one of them.

Spring sunrise yoga.
Woodland trail runs and walks.
Space to breathe, reset, reconnect.
A place to stop and feel awe

Saunas, cold water, and who wants to swim to a castle?

We are curating something very special here for Spring 2027.

Watch this space. Comment WILDERNESS below to be the 1st to know more.

Micro Wellness Tip: Head to the coast and take a slow walk along the shoreline, beach combing as you go and noticing. Noticing the textures beneath your feet, the colour of the shells and rocks, the rhythm of the tide, the cool of the water. Gentle, mindful movement in nature is one of the simplest ways to restore energy.

Clear water. Open space. Deep exhale.

There’s something about the coast that shifts everything, a sea swim to awaken the body, a quiet coastal walk to clear the mind, and the gentle warmth of a sand beneath your feet to ground.

When was the last time you walked barefoot on the sand, feeling that connection? That simple connection, paired with the rhythm of the sea, has a way of bringing you back to yourself. It really is a place where you can truly exhale.

Simple moments, thoughtfully combined, creating space to feel, to breathe, and to reset.

This is the rhythm of our retreats on Anglesey. Swim, walk, and hike with us here this Summer.

You might think a February retreat is all about escaping to warmer climes… but there’s something so humbling about retreating in Wales in the calm of winter.

An incredible group of people, some completely new to yoga, came together for our cold water & breath work retreat. Guided by the amazing , and nourished by the wonderful , we experienced connection, courage, and calm like only winter can bring.

Thanks to who captured the spirit of the weekend on film. Raw. Wild. Free.

✨Wellness micro tip: Write down one small thing you can do for yourself today, then do it. It counts.

Read a chapter, a short walk to somewhere peaceful, five minutes of stretching, or a quiet moment, tiny actions remind your mind and body you matter too. Small steps like this add up.

They’re the same building blocks of active aging, energy, and connection we celebrate on our retreats for women over 45. 💛

Somewhere between busy lives, caring roles, and the endless to-do lists, women over 45 often forget to pause for themselves. 🌿

Turning fifty can be a quiet pivot point. Children are more independent, life slows a little, and suddenly there’s space to ask: Who am I now? How do I want to spend my time?

On our retreats, women rediscover what it feels like to move freely, rest deeply, and connect with themselves and each other. From walking through woodland trails, to sitting with a cup of tea by the fire, to quiet moments of reflection, they are choosing to age actively, not passively.

This is not indulgence. This is maintenance. Like tending to a beloved car, we keep our bodies, minds, and spirits running smoothly, bright, and alive. ✨

Our guests leave feeling lighter, stronger, and more connected than ever, proof that pausing for yourself is one of the most radical acts of self-love. 💛

Join the movement of women who refuse to rust.

Your Zest Life Retreats

The Zest Life was created from a love for yoga and the outdoors by founder Laura Bell in 2011. Our philosophy is really very simple. We have a gorgeous, luxury venue in the heart of north wales where we invite you to come and stay for a few days. You get to do as little our as much as you like during that time, with activities to energise and inspire such as hiking Snowdon, Stand Up Paddling and wild swimming to activities to calm and restore such as yoga, meditation and beach walks. We show you some of Wales most spectacular scenery and with a fantastic, positive team that will cater for your every need, you will feel nurtured and refreshed by the time you leave. “30 best wellness breaks in the UK” The Telegraph, May 2018. “The 25 greatest yoga holidays on the planet” The Telegraph June 2017. “Top yoga retreat for activities” The Guardian 2017. “One of the top ten yoga retreats in the world” The Times 2016. “Top six yoga retreats to visit in Europe” The Independent 2014.
