Last night’s Full Snow Moon Sound Bath was an invitation to go deep into rest and relaxation.
And as often happens, nothing dramatic followed.
No fireworks.

Just a quieter breath.
Less gripping.
More space inside.

Illumination rather than instruction.
Clarity rather than force.

🦁This Full Moon in Leo asks for bravery.
Be bold. Be courageous.
Not performance.
Not confidence for show.
But the courage to be honest with yourself.

🧭If you’ve been feeling unsure, flat, or strangely disconnected,
it can be a sign you’ve drifted from your inner compass.

An invitation to ask yourself:
What behaviours or habits are no longer serving me?
What would actually support me right now?

This is the energy we’re working with in this week’s Hatha Yoga & Cocoon Yoga classes…
reconnecting with purpose, choosing alignment,
and having the courage to walk your own path.

Classes this week in Fowey & St Austell 📍

Shine your light clearly,

What if your body isn’t the problem…. it’s the guide?

Over the last few posts I’ve shared how I work,
🧘‍♀️learning the language of your body,
👁️being aware of what’s present,
🧠 and responding with intelligence rather than force.

This is exactly how I teach Gentle Hatha Yoga.

It isn’t a different practice to my Hatha classes.
It’s the same foundations: strength, mobility, breath and awareness…
just offered with more options and deeper explanation.

That means:
➡️ you can modify without feeling behind
➡️ you can work with injuries, niggles or limitations
➡️ you can build strength and confidence without rushing
➡️ you can learn the language of your body

This class is especially supportive if you’re returning to yoga, navigating changes in your body, or simply coming along for a steady, intelligent practice.

Gentle Hatha Yoga
🕙 Mondays, 10am
📍 Harbour Hotel, Fowey

💡 If this way of practising resonates, you’d be very welcome.

And if you’re unsure whether this or my Hatha class is the right fit, just message me, I’m always happy to help you choose 🤍

19/01/2026

We learn different languages in life.
We learn how to communicate with others.
How to read the room.
How to keep going.

But very few of us are taught how to understand the language of our body.

Your body speaks through sensation, fatigue, resistance, ease.
Through pain, tightness, and sometimes a quiet sense of “not today.”

When we don’t understand that language, the signals get louder.

Yoga, for me, is about learning to listen,
so I can respond with intelligence rather than force.

This is what I mean when I say:
learn the language of your body.

It’s not about doing less.
It’s about doing what actually supports you.

Be aware, of what is present.
As it is.

📩If this resonates and you’d like to talk it through, feel free to DM me.

Not all yoga needs to be strong to be powerful 🤍

Gentle Yoga is for the days when your body asks for softness, not pushing.
This class is slow, supportive and adaptable, with options throughout.

Perfect if you’re:
• new to yoga
• returning after a break
• feeling tired, stiff or overwhelmed
• wanting to move with more ease

You don’t need to be flexible.
You don’t need to keep up.
You just need to arrive as you are.

If you’re wondering whether Gentle Yoga is right for you, send me a message, I’m always happy to help 🤍

Isn’t it amazing how nature provides us with these cycles again and again, offering us permission to begin again?

The New Moon marks the end of a cycle. As the old moon closes, there’s an invitation to let go of what no longer serves you and make space for something new.
A pause point, where reflection and fresh intentions can gently take root.

The vibrations of a sound bath give the mind a chance to settle into theta brainwave states… the same state associated with deep meditation, creativity and subconscious change.

When the body feels safe and deeply relaxed, the brain becomes more receptive, allowing chosen words or intentions to land more fully and begin forming new, supportive neural pathways.

This isn’t woo woo, it’s neural science.
And it’s why the state we’re in matters just as much as the words we choose.

This isn’t about forcing anything or “positive thinking.”
It’s about creating the right conditions for clarity, steadiness and new possibilities to birth.

I’ll guide you through a very simple, accessible way to choose a word or phrase that aligns with the energy you’re ready to bring in, something you can return to long after the session ends.

If you’ve had a rocky time lately, this can be a powerful moment to recalibrate, or even quietly reinvent yourself.

Do everyday movements feel harder than they should?
Putting your socks on.
Twisting to reverse the car.
Getting down low in the kitchen to retrieve that crock pot you haven’t used for years.

These are often early signs that strength, mobility and stability need a bit more attention, especially if you spend time sitting, driving, or repeating the same movements day after day.

This is where Hatha Yoga comes in.

An hour of purposeful movement each week that builds:
• functional strength
• joint mobility
• balance and coordination
• postural awareness

So your body works better in real life… not just on the mat.

It also has a powerful knock-on effect:
• clearer focus
• better-quality sleep
• a calmer, more regulated nervous system
• more energy for the rest of the week

💬 “Bonnie is so welcoming, making you feel instantly at ease from the minute you step into her class (Hatha yoga in my instance). She is very calming and fluid with instructions, yet astute when it comes to form and offers assistance if you wish. The class flows really well and the relaxation section at the end is lovely too. I’d highly recommend!”
— Tanya Kellett, Google Review ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This Hatha Yoga class blends:
• mindful but strong movement
• clear, practical instruction
• intelligent adaptations when needed
• a well-earned relaxation at the end

You’ll leave feeling stronger, more mobile, and more together, in your body and in your head.
