Red flags in relationships can include:
• Jealousy that feels suffocating.
• Excessive control over your life.
• Isolation from friends and family.
• Gaslighting (“that never happened”).
• Belittling or constant criticism.
• Threats or intimidation.
• Love bombing, too much too soon.
• Disrespecting your boundaries.
• Blaming you for their behaviour.
• Making you feel afraid or unsafe.

A healthy relationship has no room for red flags. Trust your instincts if you see these signs and reach out for support.

The Toxic Monster You Saw in the End Is Who They Are
It’s tempting to give a narcissist the benefit of the doubt when they “play nice.” They may apologise, act charming, or promise change. But never forget the truth: the toxic monster you saw at the end is who they really are.
Narcissists can be experts at pretending. They know how to twist words, feign remorse, and manipulate your emotions. But those rare moments of “kindness” aren’t a sign they’ve changed—they’re a tactic to regain control or keep you hooked.
Trust your instincts. If something felt wrong before, it’s not your imagination. They may try to confuse you, gaslight you, or make you feel guilty for doubting them. Never let their brief acts of charm erase the pattern of abuse.
Healing starts when you accept reality and stop hoping for change. Protect yourself. Set boundaries. And learn to recognise the signs early, so you don’t waste time and energy on someone incapable of true empathy.

They don't dislike you because you did something wrong. They dislike you because you see them for who they really are. You see beyond the surface — past the charm, the smiles, the carefully curated image they show to the world. You notice the subtle digs, the shifting stories, the emotional games designed to keep people confused and controlled. You’ve stopped accepting the half-truths. You question what doesn’t make sense. You see how they twist reality, shift blame, and turn every confrontation into an opportunity to play the victim.

They don't hate you because you hurt them — they hate you because your clarity threatens the comfortable fiction they've created around themselves. You’ve become a mirror they can’t stand to look into, because your presence reflects their manipulation, their emotional dishonesty, and their fear of being truly seen. And instead of confronting their behavior, they target your awareness. They label you as “too much,” “too sensitive,” or “the problem,” because that’s easier than facing the truth you represent.

But the truth is this: being disliked by someone who thrives on lies, control, and illusion is not a loss — it’s a form of liberation. It means you’re no longer under their spell. It means your spirit resisted their control. And even though they may smear your name or try to rewrite the story, deep down, they know you saw them — the real them — and they’ll never forgive you for that.

But that’s not your burden to carry. Keep standing in your truth. You didn’t lose them — they lost access to someone they couldn’t manipulate.

Pain Myths & Surprising Truths And How Hypnotherapy and Mindfulness May Help

Pain is a very real and often misunderstood experience. Whether it’s chronic back pain, migraines, fibromyalgia & pain that doctors ‘can’t find a cause for’ people are sometimes left feeling not listened to and isolated.

Let’s bust a few common pain myths and share how Mindfulness and/or Solution Focused Hypnotherapy might help.

MYTH. If pain doesn’t show up on a scan, it must be in your head.
FACT. Definitely not true, Pain is real even if any tests you may have had are clear. Pain is a symptom- that means only the person experiencing the pain can say what it’s like.
Brains 🧠 can also sometimes continue to send pain signals after an injury heals. You’re not imagining it. Your therapist and/or will validate your experience.

MYTH. Chronic pain is just long-lasting pain.
FACT. Chronic pain is different. It often involves changes in the brain and nervous system. It can be its own condition, not just a lingering symptom.

MYTH. Women are just more emotional about pain.
FACT. NOPE! We all may experience pain differently due to what else is happening in our biology and our social connections, but that doesn’t make it ‘just anxiety.’ Anxiety might be present with pain but that doesn’t mean if someone says they’re in pain it’s ’just anxiety’ Sadly, sometimes women’s pain is more likely dismissed.

MYTH There’s nothing you can do except take medication.💊
FACT Medication can help, but there are many ways to support pain management, like Solution Focused Hypnotherapy and Clinical Hypnotherapy, which may really help you manage your pain.
