As we head into the festive season, it’s a great time to give your eyes a little extra care 🎄🎁

We offer OCT scans — a highly detailed look at your eyes.

It’s quick, non-invasive, and helps us spot early signs of conditions like glaucoma, macular changes and diabetic eye issues long before you’d notice anything yourself.

An OCT scan is a great present to your eyes and future self to make sure your eyes stay healthy through winter and beyond.

If you’re an NHS-funded patient, you can simply add an OCT scan as a small top-up to your standard eye test — giving you the most advanced check of your eye health.

🤣Astigmatism… say whattttt?!

It’s actually a very common vision issue, and luckily it can be corrected with glasses or contact lenses.

So what is it?

Your cornea — the front window of the eye — should be nice and round for clear vision. If it’s shaped more like a rugby ball, things can appear blurred or slightly distorted. That’s astigmatism!

There are two main types:

✨ Corneal astigmatism – caused by the shape of the cornea
✨ Lenticular astigmatism – when the natural lens inside the eye isn’t a perfect shape, even if the cornea is

The good news? Both can be corrected with glasses or contact lenses.
