A very healing weekend at Upminster Sanctuary Complementary Healing and Teaching with four incredible ladies.

Great friendships and bonds were made with Louise, Keeley, Diana and Pippa on their first teachings - Shoden with Usui Reiki Ryoho.

A full weekend delving into the more original system of Reiki with Reiki Meditations and energy cultivation exercises. If you are interested in starting your self healing journey with this traditional self healing course please get in touch. I run them throughout the year. The next one is in April.

Sonny is approximately 3.5years old.
We aren’t sure of Sonny’s past up to approximately 6-8 months of age. He was found in a country lane amongst fly-tipped rubbish and was extremely scared and shut down. It took him a long time to settle and accept people but once he did, he has become a very daft, loving and lively boy! Sonny is a large cross breed.
Sonny does have specific needs so please read Sonny’s full description before applying.
A home where someone is around all the time is a must for Sonny at least initially. He will need as long as it takes to transition into his new surroundings and routine.
Sonny must live with another dog that is medium to large in size and that is of a balanced nature. Sonny is very sociable around both male and female dogs.
Sonny can live in an adult-only home or where there are teenagers as well but not a home that is too busy.
Sonny will require multiple visits from potential new owners so he can build a bond with you and your dog. Sonny will need to feel comfortable around you before adoption takes place.
Sonny warms quicker to ladies over men but will trust new men eventually.
He is a very happy dog in familiar surroundings and company. Once he is bonded with you this is a great step in having him feel comfortable elsewhere hence why he will need multiple visits initially. We know he will settle into a new home – he just needs time and patience.
A home with no cats is preferred.

Every so often I like to write in my Reiki Journal when something springs to mind.

I’m suffering with nerve pain from a molar that is also affecting my ear and head so I spent about an hour self healing in this area this morning. It’s amazing what comes to mind when you are self healing. I float in and out of bliss and then attachment.

This is good as we need to sit with this and surrender. This is when the magic happens.

Shin Shin Kaizen Usui Reiki Ryoho
Is the original teachings of Reiki

Translates to “Improvement of the mind, then the body with Usui’s Reiki Healing Method”

Most people think of Reiki as purely a hands on healing modality when in fact firstly it is a spiritual practise.

Usui Reiki Ryoho is all about turning into the self and finding stillness with daily practise and living the Gokai (Reiki Precepts).

A beautiful sunny morning in my favourite spot. A little haven of tranquility. The perfect spot for Reiki Meditation and sending distance healing.

The woodpeckers and parakeets were going about their day. Taking time out from this crazy world to find connection with nature is so healing. The harder life gets the more important it is to carve out these moments of stillness and connection.
