HOME VISIT COMMUNITY PHYSIOTHERAPY SERVICE
We are pleased to announce that Excel Physiotherapy and Acupuncture, Upminster (01708-226622) are now offering a community physiotherapy service for Cranham, Upminster and the surrounding areas.
Chartered Physiotherapist Ralph Stevens has joined the team at Excel and has 20 years experience in this area of physiotherapy provision.
The service will provide residential visits (house, flat, care or nursing homes) and include services such as :
- Rehabilitation following any type of orthopaedic surgery i.e TKR, THR, TSR or the like.
- Rehabilitation whereby patients have lost mobility/function following a hospital stay or even an illness at home.
- Rehabilitation post falls and/or work on falls prevention training
- Specific gait re-education including indoors, outdoors and bus practice
- Assessment for mobility equipment needs including collaboration with appropriate suppliers
