We’ve been building our little team a lot over the last few months, and I’m not kidding when I say I feel like we do genuinely have the dream team at the bakery now, but we’ve realised we still have a space for someone to come in a little later in the day and help out with less of the baking side and more of the packing side!

If you’d like to join our gang, spreading a little bit of love and edible inspiration across the country, get in touch! (And if it’s not for you, feel free to share with someone you might know who could be a perfect fit 💛🩷)

❄️ Winter doesn’t have to mean aches, stiffness, or sofa hibernation!

Here are 9 physio-approved ways to keep your body moving and pain-free this season 👇

1️⃣ Warm up before you move – cold muscles benefit from a targeted increase in blood flow and activation.

2️⃣ Keep active, even with short walks or stretch breaks.

3️⃣ Layer up to keep joints and muscles warm.

4️⃣ Don’t forget to hydrate – dehydration sneaks up in winter!

5️⃣ Watch your posture (especially when curling up against the cold).

6️⃣ Stretch tight areas daily – hips, hamstrings, shoulders.

7️⃣ Prioritise rest and good sleep for recovery.

8️⃣ Stay consistent with your strength work.

9️⃣ Listen to your body – don’t push through pain.

Small, consistent movement aids less stiffness, fewer injuries, and more energy all winter long. ✨

This month's MyBike session is focusing on our Rutland County Council social workers and the families they are working with! We also ask our colleagues should you have any bikes that go unused to consider donating them to us so we can fix them up and redistribute them to those in need!

We are really struggling to maintain stock of children's bikes so please if you have any attend the drop off sessions listed on our poster🚴🤝
