Good morning. We had a lovely time with Jess yesterday. Nice meal in Wetherspoons and a good catch up. We decided to get the bus home from Chester bus station. On the way to Chester the train terminated at Hooton due to urgent signalling works. We got off the train, across the bridge and were just walking to the replacement bus when the train manager shouted us to go back. The problem was fixed. So we traipsed back onto the train. It was a bit late getting in but was OK. Quite amusing.

We had quite a wait for the 22 bus to West Kirby so I suggested getting the X1 to Liverpool so we could get off at Birkenhead bus station and get a bus home. It took 2 hours!!! Never again. lol.

Anyway it's Friday, so food shopping today. Oh joy!

Half way through the week already. My lovely afternoon client has had to postpone her treatment because she has an urgent hospital appointment so I am going to her next Wednesday instead, so I have a spare hour or so this afternoon. Please give me a shout if you would like to grab this hour while you can. Otherwise I will have to do the ironing 😂.

Good morning and Happy Lunar New Year. The year of the fire horse. The energies are building and as we say goodbye to the year of the snake where the energies were slow, and shedding our layers, the fire horse is galloping on.

I've managed to get a hair appointment this morning. There weren't many available in the next few weeks with my chosen hairdresser so had to book todays. My hair seems to be OK for weeks then it suddenly grows like mad. It's always been the same.

Good morning & happy Monday. No yoga class today as our lovely teacher has other commitments. I recorded a little video while we were in Spain and Brian has finally managed to edit it. So here it is.

Have a great day and a brilliant week. Last day of the lunar year of the snake today. Tomorrow starts the year of the fire horse. The energies are strong. There's also a new moon tomorrow so if you feel out of sorts that could be why. xx

Good morning Sunday. We had a fabulous time last night. A lovely meal in Portofino (I think it's called) The Italian restaurant next to the old Wetherspoons in New Brighton then a brilliant night watching our friends musical at the Floral Pavilion Theatre. It was an amazing musical play called Under the Mersey Moon. Great songs, great performers and a really feel good night. Went home singing all the songs from it. Got a real surprise when we left the theatre because it was snowing heavily. Really thought we were going to wake up to a white garden and bad roads. Thankfully not. Oh and just to let you know there are a few tickets left for tonight's performance of Under the Mersey Moon. Highly recommended.

Happy Valentine's Day. It's a frosty one today. And the flat is cold. We turn the boiler off when we go away and it takes a while to heat the flat again. Not looking forward to getting out of bed today. lol.

We're off to the Floral Pavilion theatre tonight to see Under the Mersey Moon. A musical play co written by our friend Jimmy Rae and a colleague/friend of his. We missed it last year because we were away. Really looking forward to it tonight and I believe there are still tickets available. So if you fancy a fun night out get yourself there.

Good morning Friday. Up early this morning. Got to be at the airport for 9.30 but going early to hopefully try the new Wetherspoons for breakfast. They do a bacon butty for €5.95. Sounds like a plan 😁.
