Veganuary taster session and mythbuster talk

To promote Veganuary, Clatterbridge Cancer Centre are hosting a vegan taster stall in the main reception this THURSDAY 15TH JANUARY between 11am and 4pm. Why not come along and try out some delicious vegan food.

It's Medicines Safety Week and the key message is - we all have the power to make healthcare products safer.
Through the Yellow Card scheme we can encourage patients to report suspected side effects to medicines, adverse incidents with medical devices, safety concerns about e-cigarettes/vapes and defective, low-quality or falsified (fake) products to improve patient safety.

Remember to ask patients to look out for the CQC Adult Inpatient Survey. Most patients are happy with their care. The survey results are used by CQC and national league tables so every response counts.

Under the leadership of Dr Ruth Davies, the team has been at the forefront of major clinical trials, including work that could change when patients receive vital stroke treatments. Supported by Research Nurse Venetia Johnson, the department continues to build a strong culture of collaboration and innovation.

Since 2019, NETS is the only national survey open to all healthcare students, trainees, resident doctors, and apprentices, providing us with essential feedback on induction, clinical supervision, facilities, learning opportunities, and teamwork they experience. Did you know that the CQC Adult Inpatient Survey results are used by CQC during inspections and also to compile the NHS national acute trust league table?

Most WUTH patients are happy with their care so the more patients who respond to the survey, the more accurately it will reflect our care.

From TODAY and throughout November, ask adult inpatients to look out for the survey and fill it in.
