Imagine deadlifting 235kg at 75 years old… 🤯

Huge PureGym member appreciation post for an absolute legend, Gavin Taylor.

I first met Gavin years ago when he trained at Meadowfield Leisure Centre while I was working there. His dedication has always been incredible.

At 75 years old, Gavin stepped onto the platform at the Powerlifting World Championships in Glasgow and pulled an unbelievable 235kg deadlift. 💪

Now 86 years old, he’s still training and still inspiring everyone around him, just lifting a little lighter these days.

Proof that strength has no age limit.

👏 Gavin, you’re a true inspiration. I hope I can still lift like you when I’m your age.
