Parkside Community Primary School Kent have taken delivery of a used Minibus Lite.

I just wanted to thank you again for all your support with the purchase of our school minibus, especially during challenging times for us all. You made the whole process stress free and nothing was too much trouble. I appreciate you sorting the sign writing for us and it was really lovely to see the professional finish on the bus when it arrived. The biggest thanks should come in your willingness to deliver the bus in person to us in Canterbury free of charge. I know this made it a long day for you and thank you doesn’t seem enough. Although the bus only arrived yesterday I have already had many compliments on how lovely it looks and many parents think it is brand new because of the finish of the work and how sparkly it looks. We are looking forward to times when we can get out and about showing off our new purchase.

I will definitely be recommending your company to my colleagues and encouraging them to purchase vehicles from you if they need them.

Do you need a wheelchair accessible car WAV

You maybe Eligible for the Motability Scheme WAV, if you receive either of the following.

Higher Rate Mobility Component (HRMC) of the Disability Living Allowance (DLA) or Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
You need to have at least 12 months award length remaining when you apply for an application for a WAV which can also be made on behalf of a child aged three or older, who is entitled to the mobility allowance. Even if you don’t drive, but receive the allowance, you can apply for a WAV as a passenger and propose two other people as your drivers.

If you are under 65 and have a disability but are not currently receiving the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the DLA you may be entitled to this allowance. Contact Motability to find out about possible options and how to apply for a motability car.

What is Contract Hire?
Most Motability customers choose contract hire as they find it’s the best option for a WAV mobility car. They like the convenience of a single, regular payment that includes maintenance, breakdown cover and means they are fully insured. At the end of the five year hire agreement the wheelchair vehicle is simply returned to Motability.
