We made the most of the dry morning and went on a few walks around the village, blowing the cobwebs away and getting some fresh air. We noticed the signs of spring peeking through and we can not wait for brighter weather.

๐Ÿง€ National Cheese Day๐Ÿง€
Today we celebrated national cheese day with some cheese tasting this morning. Staff, residents & family members were offered a selection of cheese such as Cranberry wensleydale, smoked cheese, red Leicester, Brie, Stilton & Aprocot Wensleydale to try along with pickle, crackers and grapes. Everyone seemed to really enjoy this activity (who doesnt love cheese?!)
This afternoon we played some games - Velctro target & Hoop Toss, competing against each other for the high score. A massive well done to Doreen for scoring 250 in velcro target & Cath For scoring 30 in Hoop Toss ๐Ÿ‘

Our Location.

The Old Rectory was built in the 16th Century and forms a central focus within the home, sited on the edge of Bramshall which is a small village between Uttoxeter and Stafford. The Old Rectory overlooks the vale of Bramshall which forms a backdrop of unspolit rural English countryside providing an atmosphere of contentment and tranquillity. This idealic 'Constable' scene is matched by an internal environment which styles its two main lounges on that of a mid 20th Century country house, with a dining room which one would expect to find in a fist class country hotel. Bedrooms are either standard or premium, many having en-suite toilet and bathing facilities, the majority with garden and scenic views.
