SOCIAL PRESCRIBING DAY 2026!

Today, the Burton Albion Community Trust Social Prescribing Team celebrate their work in East Staffordshire.
Social Prescribers support people over 18 who have a GP practice in East Staffordshire.

The support consists of linking people to organisation and groups helping with specific non-medical needs. This includes issues such as housing, mental wellbeing, adult social care, physical exercise classes and hobby groups.

Good afternoon

If you are coming to see a doctor on Thursday, we are not starting surgery until 10am and it will be a locum doctor for this day only. This will be a one-off slot, the surgery will still be open from 8am to book in but you will not be seen until 10am. The surgery will then run from 10am - 12.00, sorry for any inconvenience caused. We will be back to normal hours on Friday and Dr Poonian will be doing the surgery in place of Dr Sidhu. There are no late night slots this week due to Dr Sidhu being off.
Regards
