From Spain 🇪🇸 bringing a variety of entertainment

The mariachi show is very fun and interactive this is for all the family to enjoy.
There are maracas to hand out It''s colourful with lots of energy.

2pm till 3pm in our coffee lounge. Drinks available. 💸 🏦

Happy Valentines 💝 🌹 Our Bakes and bubbles 🍾 were a success what a lovely evening filled with kindness and love. Our kitchen were busy preparing the food, the decorations and the preparation set the scene and our amazing entertainment from Robert Burton Accordion . 🪗 Entertainment was enjoyed for our residents who wanted some quiet time in their rooms , Robert visited the lounges and bedrooms to make sure everyone felt involved.

First impressions always count when moving into a care home settling in and at Bateman House adding the extra little touches to welcome our residents is key from a welcome card , Water , Flowers the lights on and warm welcome from our team.

Left step 🚶‍♀️ 💃 Right step well we definitely took up dancing this afternoon at our first visit to the famous Carol Bradbury Teadance at chestnut Grange. Carol is definitely a star and local legend who has played at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom!
Our ladies and gentlemen enjoyed a dance and learning our wellbeing team a few dance moves. 🕺 Thank you to everyone who made us welcome.

This morning ww took a trip to the garden centre in Uttoxeter. We had a look around and enjoyed a cuppa in the cafe. We brought some plants to plant hopefully we get a dry day to plant them. 🪴

Snowdrops and daffodils were the highlight

Please see the attached menu and you can also invite 3 family members to be part of our evening. There will be a variety of food and there will be no extra cost to attend this event, but a donation is welcome.

There will also be some walk-around entertainment between 5pm-6pm

This week we welcomed guest speaker Alan Learning all about the battle of Hastings, Norman knights with armour and different weapons to hear about. Alan our guest speaker told us all about the history and Historic Stafford the work they do. Our residents and guests at our coffee morning got to ask questions and try some of the equipment on. Alan brought his experience and told some great stories.

Our monthly coffee mornings are free to attend the next one is on 4th March. ☕️

We’re spending kindness this February at Bateman House 💜🎂

This week our residents and team organised a small surprise for our local PCSO Sean Antony to thank him for his ongoing support and regular visits since the home opened. What he expected to be a routine visit turned into a warm thank you and a cake made by our talented chefs 🎂
